We are delighted to announce that from May 2021, DUET diabetes and Love Your Feet (LYF Training/LYFCPD) are working collaboratively to offer some of the 'Hands on Feet' Training Portfolio as online mini modules.

We are evolving and expanding the choice of how you can access our training.  As not everyone who would like to attend our live workshops can do so; as a result, in response to requests we are in the process of adapting our live webinar workshops to offer them as 'bite-sized' mini modules. These consist of a pre-recorded session led by Gemma Andrews, downloadable supporting documentation and separate film clips for the demonstrations shared within the main session of each module.

Nicola O'Brian, CEO of 'Love Your Feet', is a passionate educator and a recent meeting with her highlighted our joint aim to support podiatrists, foot health practitioners and allied healthcare professionals, by providing evidence based, easily accessible and clinical relevant training. LYF Training has established an online training platform which will now encompass the DUET diabetes 'Hands on Feet' mini modules. We are formally launching this collaboration at the Foot & Ankle Show Digital event taking place on 14-15 May 2021.  For those attending and who watch our presentation, we will be offering some generous discounts!

The first of the workshops to be made available in this new format is the 'Diabetic Foot Screening Series of mini modules:

• Module 1: Introduction & taking a history

• Module 2: Observe, Feel & Risk stratification

• Module 3: Risk stratification, Action & Documenting

• Module 4: Top Tips

Shortly followed by a mini module introducing you to the neuropad® - a unique screening test for sudomotor function and the early detection of peripheral diabetic neuropathy.

​

As the summer progresses the 'Ankle Brachial Pressure Index Assessment' mini module series will go live and we have plans for further modules beyond that too!

​

The online mini modules allow you to learn at a time and pace that suits you as well as the ability to re-visit the content whenever you want to!
