Recent review: “I really enjoyed the training and felt both presenters were knowledgeable and explained all aspects in detail. I found it useful that we were able to ask questions and that the training was not limited due to current restrictions i.e. the fact that it was conducted by zoom did not detract at all from the quality of the training. Thank you I will recommend this training to my colleagues.”
Summary of scheduled open workshops (face to face)
The following workshops are regularly run as open workshops at various venues (see below for locations, dates and cost):
a combined “Diabetes Awareness Training and Blood Glucose Monitoring & Glucometer Training”
“Diabetes Update for Registered Nurses”

Our workshops are relevant for the health and care workforce looking after adults living with diabetes; developed for people working in care homes, for domiciliary care providers, GP practices (practice nurses and healthcare assistants), or in community roles.
In July 2020 we expanded our service to work with the beauty and wellness sector to help people who provide foot related treatments to understand the 'diabetic foot'more fully, including when and when not to treat. More information can be found via the 'hands on feet' link on our workshops page.
DUET diabetes can help people to upskill and increase their confidence when treating or looking after people with diabetes. The ultimate aim being to make a positive difference to those living with diabetes and their quality of life.
More information, including the content of all our workshops, can be found on our workshops page.
