Eating for health with type 2 diabetes...

Earlier this year I was fortunate to be introduced to Rachel Page by a mutual friend. Due to coronavirus restrictions our first meeting was a virtual one via Zoom, however it didn't take long before we realised that our focus in wanting to ensure that people with diabetes have the opportunity to live a full life was aligned.

Rachel is a BANT registered nutritionist, with degree in Nutritional Science from Middlesex University and a Nutritional Therapy Practice Diploma from the Centre for Nutrition Education and Lifestyle Management. She is also a qualified Neuro-Linguistic Programming practitioner. So I was delighted when Rachel agreed to meet up for a chat about the role food plays in managing type 2 diabetes and answer some of the common questions regarding this topic. Rachel shares tips and advice to help ensure that meals are nutritious, tasty and balanced so that blood glucose levels remain within an optimal range.

We hope that you enjoy listening into our conversation...

To find out more about the service Rachel provides and how she helps people diagnosed with, or at risk of developing, type 2 diabetes to balance their blood sugar levels, get their energy back and live a full life, her details are below:
