Last week DUET diabetes participated in the first National Insulin Safety week campaign organised by Orange Juice Communications.
Oliver Jelly did an amazing job of administrating the campaign and sent out resources and information to all participating sites.
We raised awareness of the need for greater insulin safety during an education event we ran for Registered Nurses. The tee shirts went down well and one of the nurses brought a delicious banana cake!
The campaign was developed around the principles of the '6 Rs' that are promoted by TREND UK and was a resounding success.
